    • If you mean the actual term "Underworld",then you're talking about a debunked rumor.
  • The door is a preserved artifact of the people who made the four-toed statue and the ruins.
  • The door leads to a Cerberus Vent that allowed Ben to summon the Monster.
  • The door was made by the same people who built The Temple.
  • If Jack hadn't intervened and prevented Locke from being dragged underground by the monster in Exodus, Locke would have found himself behind the secret door in Ben's house.
