Background
Brian Goodman grew up in South Boston in a rough neighborhood where he involved himself in small-time crime. Despite this he had two sons and could not hold down a steady job. He was sent to prison for five years and once released decided to turn his life around through acting. He has appeared in TV shows such as 24, CSI and Day Break and movies such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. His directorial debut was What Doesn't Kill You starring Mark Ruffalo and Ethan Hawke, an auto-biography story of Goodman which was received with a standing ovation at it's world premiere at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.
