Talk:Dr. Hackett
From Lostpedia
- Merge: Again, like a few others, we don't need articles on minor characters where the only info is repetition of the Rachel posts. I get that there was initial broken links to here but they should have just been removed, we don't need this --Nickb123 (Talk) 16:41, 24 June 2006 (PDT)
- Leave: at least for a week, let's see if Hackett becomes a more significant character, or just a name on a letter.--Jajasoon 11:59, 25 June 2006 (PDT)
- Leave: I say leave as well. I think the reason is because no one knows which characters are major and which are minor at this point, and if the appearance is seen yet another time, people are not necessarily going to search for a particular entry, but rather a name. Take Kilpatrick (Jeep Daimler exec), this would have been hard to put together that he was also wtkFleet35. --PandoraX 15:38, 25 June 2006 (PDT)
- Right well what I've said is for all these new minor characters like GidgetGirl and Mel0drama, we'll just leave the merge links on for the moment (cause it takes ages for anything to actually happen anyway e.g. took like 2 months before the Staff actually merged), and we'll see what happens in the near future before making the proper decision --Nickb123 (Talk) 15:52, 25 June 2006 (PDT)
Keep & Cleanup
So with the NANITE clue, it seems that Dr. Hackett is returning to importance with Apollo Candy Company. If anyone's looking for something to do, this article could be restructured to present info, rather than just list references. (I'll do it in a few days if nobody beats me to it!). --Jajasoon 13:02, 9 August 2006 (PDT)
Theories
Re: "fruity beverages"
Considering one of the Lost Experience sites is sublymonal.com, possibly a tie-in suggesting that the psychotropic substance is hidden in Sprite. -- belle42
- Nice idea - although I'd assume Sprite wouldn't want anyone to think that it might be true! (Unless it's really fun psychotropics...) --Jajasoon 12:50, 12 August 2006 (PDT)
- Yeah... because that new clue (the one where Mel0drama signs) makes me suspect that he is putting them in Sprite.
- Or Sprite Energize. It's a new one, I've seen it in the shops, I wanted to try it until this...ah well, Sprite's sales are really going to go down now. Might be a new drink though...maybe Apollo is going to make a chocolate drink? --Zoe 22:22, 17 August 2006 (PDT)
Re: Apollo Candy Bars
If there truly are psychotropic substances within those candy bars, are any 'Losties' planning on getting and/or eating the free candy they are offering? -- belle42
If there are psychotropic substances, are they a recent addition? If not, is it possible that eating the candy caused Hurley's psychotic episode and delusions of seeing Dave? -- belle42
My first major posting...
I'm wondering if my posting in the theories section (about the drinks on the plane) is alright or if it should be considered speculation. I just watched disc one of the first season and couldn't help but notice that most of the passangers had drinks on the plane, save Charlie for now (although his heroin could have something to do with it as well). Thanks for any input you guys could give me on this.--Mighty Rearranger 05:20, 31 August 2006 (PDT)
- Kate and Jack are the only ones with drinks.--CaptainInsano 11:45, 31 August 2006 (PDT)
- I changed it to say Pilot, Part 2. Were there any more crash flashbacks so far other than the 3 in Pilot?--Mighty Rearranger 05:58, 1 September 2006 (PDT)
