The spelling of 'Lindsey'

I went with this spelling as this is the one used on Christian Shephard's page. I assume it's the spelling as intended by the show but I've not seen an offical cast list, so I can't be sure. Until it's 100% confirmed, I wont bother setting up redirects for the other spellings just yet. ~~ Cappsy ~~

Lindsey is the most offical spelling of the female version of that name, so I think it's the best one to go with, as opposed to Lindsay which is usually the male spelling. But maybe I'm biased as it's my name! --LostCat 11:24, 6 May 2006 (PDT) (real name Lindsey!)

Rename

If she is the sister of Carole Littleton, Lindsey should also have Littleton after her name--Phil 06:24, 17 March 2007 (PDT)

• Comment I guess if we are assuming Carole's last name (and other characters) based on inference only this is fine. Might want to make a note of this in the trivia section for clarity though. It's theoretically possible Lindsey is married or divorced.
• Don't rename - Carole's maiden name is Littleton, but we have no confirmation that Lindsey was or was not ever married. If I had to put money on it and guess, I'd agree with Phil, but for the purposes of the article it's fan conjecture IMHO. - ^C¯ _Santa_ ¯^T 13:38, 17 March 2007 (PDT)
• Don't rename - "Lindsey Littleton" redirects to "Lindsey" since that are the same person and the page was wanted. The name should not change since she is the only character named Lindsey, so surname is of no importance. --|MMORTAL /\LIEN 13:40, 17 March 2007 (PDT)
• Don't rename - I agree that we should not use last names until we're informed of them through the show or other official sources. Many had assumed (using common sense) that Lindsey was Claire's mother until "Par Avion" confirmed her real identity, so I vote that we stick with what we know as fact for now. • Don't rename - We don't know if Lindsey is married, we shouldn't assume otherwise. Its conjecture rather than fact. We'd have claimed Lindsey to be Claire's mother before "Par Avion" if that was the case. We don't know whether Littleton is Carole's maiden name, or a name used by Carole after marrying someone else, that Claire was given too...
